I created this site for people like me that dream about the internet lifestyle, working from any place in the world that has an internet connection available.
But from experience I know that getting to this dream is a hell of a journey to make.
Also this path will lead you from one failure in to the other failure, but this is all part of the learning process.
To prevent you from making the same mistakes as I did always try to showcase what ever I am doing online and this can help you in learning from real showcases if something works or not.

Since When Am I Obsessed With Online Marketing?

In 2007 I met my wife this same year at Christmas Eve and she moved from Scotland to be with me and I had a car crash that ended up costing me my job that I had for almost 10 years , now life got interesting all of a sudden.
The Telecom sector that I had worked for was not an option anymore and I needed to find a way on how to quickly get a new field of expertise.
That is when I started to follow some dutch Internet marketers and american internet marketers.
I started to create websites and webshops for myself and started to get my feet wet in internet marketing and affiliate marketing.
After discovering Dropshipping I setup some webshops and wanted to make more money with more traffic and less expenses.
So now that I had some shops of my own I was interested in Internet marketing and :

How to do on-page and off-page seo
How to get traffic
How to get more sales with by affiliates
How to outsource tasks and where to do this

Because I already setup some websites and webshops and had proof that I could make sale I got some jobs as an online marketer and ecommerce manager. For me this was the proof that there where people that liked my knowledge and knew I could help them make more sales online.
Aside from my job I always search for new ways of creating online revenue and I have bought a ton of internet marketing products, plugins and other software and they all promised golden mountains and filthy riches but none of them really delivered.

And that is because there is no real button you can push to make money online.
Everything you do online is a combination of marketing strategies , methods and actions that really cannot be combined into a software product that does implement all the knowledge that you have gathered over time.

So How did I Start Making Money Online??

Instead of buying the products online I tried to copy the success of the marketers that i was looking up to.
I still subscribed to all the promo mailings just to know how they where selling me products.
Trying to see why they had a big following I quickly saw the same pattern everywhere .
The same pattern that always gets me to buy stuff.

Video with value –> squeeze page–> email subscription –> Boom (They sold me something again)

Because I am great with HTML, PHP etc I was always able to make my own sales pages , squeeze pages etc but there had to be a better way.

Also I was still fascinated with the entire e-commerce and dropshipping strategy.
So I took this and implemented some affiliate webshops, but not the kind that you see with a wordpress plugin and amazon api.
I started creating Joomla Websites with Affiliate product that where imported automatically.
And for a while these shops really paid of and I created about 30 of them in 2 months time… And they paid off.
So I created fashion websites, travel websites that paid $45 per sale and then…..

Google came along and made sure my sites didn’t rank anymore in any organic way form or shape.
So it was time for me to upgrade my mindset again.
Social media was becoming the way to get traffic so I dove into the social media training webinars, tutorials and I must have spent countless hours and night following webinars and training video’s.
And I started getting traffic again and learned a lot about SEO, Online marketing , Traffic, Social Media.

Do you Actually Make Money Online?

Yes I make money online with:

Affiliate marketing : this means you promote other peoples products and get a percentage on every sale you realize.

Dropshipping Webshops: If you make money with dropshipping you sell products in your own webshop and after you receive a customer order and got paid you will place an order at your suppliers website and let the supplier deliver the product to your customer.
The difference in price that you charge and the price that you pay is what you make on every product.

Affiliate webshops: These are basically just websites where you promote other peoples products and you host everything like a normal webshop, but when people hit the buy now button they get redirected to the actual webshop.
Review Blogs: One of the best blogs and also one of the simplest blogs I made still makes money today and almost everyday. A review blog is basically just a wordpress blog where you promote just one product. In my case the product is the e-Cigarette and I posted some articles about where you can buy these e-cigarettes and what you get in every different shop. Also I write pro’s and cons of the webshops and make offers all throughout the site but they are disguised as good advice. On this page off course the merchant that pays the best commission gets the best rating.
Amazon Books: I published 2 books online with amazon now and they are even paying monthly residual income. Although they do not pay my mortgage bills yet I definitely see the potential in this and am planning to publish a lot more.

Udemy Courses: This is one of the best platforms to make a killing with. Udemy offers you the possibility to teach other people anything you know in the form of a digital course. You can go to udemy to learn how to play the guitar or to learn how to program php.
All the Udemy courses are done by real people like you and me that make a paycheck with these courses.

JVZoo Products: I launched 2 JVZoo products online and made some money here and learned a lot that I have put into an online course about creating and selling your own digital product.

Email Marketing: I have some niche websites that mainly have the purpose of signing people up for a newsletter with an incentive in the form of a digital product like a pdf report.
After the visitors sign up on the newsletter there is an autoresponder installed that will gently start promoting an upsell.
Creating websites: I Still like to create to normal website for a local business if they are willing to pay me.

Adsense Income: This used to be a nice income for a few bucks a day that would add up to some nice pocket change in the end, but nowadays my adsense sites don’t get any clicks anymore so this is some income that is dying silently.
Clickbank marketing: Just the best products that I actually buy for myself I promote on my site and to my list. And that is mostly because I think that my members could really use the software, or information to get better in making money online quicker than they would without.
Facebook Marketing: With the right affiliate product and the right Facebook ads I make money, but I have also spend a lot of money on Facebook advertising before I figured it all out.

Teespring: Teespring is a platform where you can sell your own t-shirts that you can design and sell without any costs at all.
I tried selling some T-shirts on Teespring and made some money here. But also discovered that there is a lot more to Teespring than just creating a t-shirt campagne and with some descent online marketing and advertising your campagne is doomed to not sell.

Outsourcing: Outsourcing is if you get paid for a project and you hire someone else to do the work for you, usually you pocket the difference.

Especially for internet marketing / graphic design/ content creation/ promotion , Fiverr is the place to be.

Am I a Millionaire?

I am certainly not a millionaire and I do not even make thousands every moth yet, but I do see a lot of income increase over the past time that I decided to stop working for a boss and start working for my own as an internet marketer.
So that does mean I know a little about how to make money online and how to keep increasing that online income.
