What is a Opencart Geocode:
Using a Geocode in Opencart makes it possible to display a Google map with your stores location in the contact page of your Opencart installation.
- The Geocode can be found in –> System – Settings – General
- The Geocode field can also be found in –> System – Localisation – Store location
The blue question mark bubble next to Geocode say “Please enter your store location geocode manually” .
This means that you can enter the longitude and latitude coordinates of your store address.

How to set opencart geocode for your store location
After you got your Google Maps Longitude and Latitude coordinates you go to your Opencart backoffice.
Go to one of the locations below.
- > System – Settings – General
- > System – Localisation – Store location
Look for the GeoCode Field and enter the longitude and latitude coordinates from your store address.
After you save the page with your Opencart Geocode you will see the map displayed with your own location.
